Define the media
Natural seawater, brine, chlorinated water and process chemicals can create different design and material requirements.
Desalination & seawater
We coordinate Grade 2 external fixings and approved drawing-based small parts for civil seawater equipment. OEMs, integrators and maintenance buyers can start with one specified item; process-wetted equipment parts are outside our scope, and the project engineering team determines suitability.
Supply boundary
Our sourcing scope is civil-use external fixings and approved drawing-based small parts. Process-wetted pump and valve components, heat-exchanger tubes or plates, and reactor or agitator internals are outside our advertised supply scope. The actual part, destination, end user and end use must be reviewed before order acceptance; an external fastener is not automatically exempt from export controls.
Read our civil-use and export scope before preparing an enquiry.
Scope / 01
Use this page to prepare the sourcing conversation. Material selection and final design suitability remain the responsibility of the qualified project team and applicable specification.

Provide the customer material grade, product standard, dimensions and any project-approved material list.
Mating materials, isolation, anti-galling measures and maintenance access should be considered by the responsible engineering team.
State MTC, heat or lot traceability, inspection and third-party requirements before quotation.
Working note
Equipment makers can send a production drawing or BOM line. System integrators can identify the approved grade, documentation and supplier requirements. Maintenance buyers should confirm the replacement drawing, mating interfaces and any OEM restrictions. Include quantity, required date and destination; our initial market focus is the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Buying questions
A useful sourcing enquiry identifies the equipment duty and the controlled part requirement. These answers help equipment makers, integrators and maintenance buyers prepare that information.
Send the drawing or BOM line with revision, specified titanium grade and standard, quantity, critical dimensions, required date and destination. Add the media, operating temperature, mating materials and project documentation requirements. Separate fasteners from machined small parts so each item has a clear acceptance scope.
Provide the OEM part reference, controlled replacement drawing, interfaces, specified grade and any approved-equivalent restrictions. A photograph or worn sample may help explain the enquiry, but does not establish the required tolerances or material. Confirm the replacement specification and approval route before treating a quotation as ready for ordering.
No. Describe the actual stream and operating conditions rather than labeling the duty only as seawater. Media, concentration, temperature, cleaning chemicals and assembly conditions are inputs to the project engineering review. MetalPartSource uses the approved specification for sourcing; we do not approve a titanium grade from a generic corrosion claim.
Yes. Include the approved-vendor restrictions, material specification, inspection plan, witness or hold points and required release documents in the RFQ. We review a proposed route against those requirements before commitment; approval or qualification is not assumed. The release-document checklist helps define the evidence required.
Use the titanium fastener sourcing page for specified hardware, or the custom titanium component page for a machined drawing-based part. Submit either requirement through the RFQ desk.
